The latest entry in the BlazBlue series of fighting games, Chrono Phantasma, has just had a Japanse release date announced.
The arcade version of the game will launch November 21st in Japan, with no date yet announced for the PlayStation 3 version of the game.
Three characters from previous games, Valkenhayn R. Hellsing, Platinum the Trinity and Relius Clover have all had new artwork depicting them in this weeks’ Famitsu magazine.

In addition, a new character, Izayoi, was revealed. She is the true form of Tsubaki Yayoi, a character from previous games. Izayoi is capable of entering “Scarlet Justice” mode; when she’s in it, all of her special moves get a power up and she becomes faster.

This happens to come shortly after some shaky footage of the arcade version of Chrono Phantasma has surfaced on YouTube. Ten videos were filmed by a keen fan at Fukuoka Taito Station in Japan and uploaded a couple of days ago. Three of these videos have been taken down due to a copyright claim from Arc System Works, but we have embedded the remaining seven below for you to wade through:
BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma is the third BlazBlue game of the main series. The story is set after Continuum Shift and like the other games, was developed by Arc System Works. Aksys Games have brought previous games in the series to America; hopefully, they’ll decide to localise Chrono Phantasma as well.
