Jasper Byrne, lone developer of Lone Survivor, posted earlier on the Superflat Games blog that his 2D horror title will be coming to both the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation Vita in the near future. The game is being ported by Curve Studios (Fluidity, Explodemon), who are re-coding the game from scratch in order to create as smooth of an experience as possible. There are also plans to include French and German translations for all you fellow Europeans who’d like to experience the games story in your native language.
Lone Survivor has been available for download on Steam since springtime this year and has received plenty of praise for its enticing yet unnerving storyline and interesting gameplay. However, I daresay the definitive version will be for the Vita, as playing this game under your bed covers at night is sure to deliver the ultimate, and fittingly suffocating, experience.
