Disgaea 4 | Fuka Kazamatsuri & prinnies

Did you miss out on Disgaea 4 when it originally came out for the PS3 in 2011? Or when the Vita version, A Promise Revisited, launched in 2014? Or maybe you didn’t miss out, and just want to replay it on a modern console? Well you might just be luck as Nippon Ichi Software has just revealed the date in which the new, more definitive, edition of the fourth installment in the popular strategy RPG series will launch on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.

Titled Disgaea 4 Complete+, the player assumes the role of Valvatorez. A instructor of prinnies running for the position of overlord. Disgaea 4 takes the humor and gameplay players had come to expect from the series and throws in a little political satire for good measure. Exactly what all has been updated from the previous releases? The press release doesn’t really say. But it will come in two special editions physical releases: The “A Promise of Sardines” edition which includes a poster and bookmark (available at Best Buy, Amazon, and GameStop.), and the “HL-raised Edition” which includes all that and a lot more. You can pre-order that here. You can also checkout the trailer. See if you can spot the Simpsons reference.

Disgaea 4 Complete+ will be available for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 October 26th, 2019. Checkout the press release below for more information:

Promises. Prosperity. Prinnies.

This is what you’ll get from a cam-pain campaign unlike any other in Disgaea 4 Complete+, coming October 29, 2019 to PlayStation®4 and Nintendo Switch™! Our newest trailer provides you with the basics of Netherworld politics and the one who’s going to change it all:

Valvatorez, a former tyrant reformed for the better as a Prinny instructor. Now, he has his eyes set on a greater calling: to weed out injustice and overthrow the Corrupternment! His methods may not be the cleanest, but dirtying one’s hands to ensure promises are kept serves a noble purpose, don’t you think?
