The official Twitter account for Granblue Fantasy has announced a closed beta test for Arc System Works’ upcoming fighting game, Granblue Fantasy Versus. The closed beta will test the game’s online features and most of its offline features will be unavailable. Applications for the closed beta test are open from May 7 at 11 pm PDT to May 24, 2019 at 11 pm PDT. Those who are chosen for the closed beta will be informed on May 28 via email.
Please note, data from the closed beta test cannot be carried over to the official release.

You will need the following for the closed beta test:
- A PlayStation®4
- A PlayStation™Network account for Japan, North America, or Europe
- A valid email address
- Internet access
- An active PlayStation®Plus subscription
The test will take place at the following times (please note, the game will only be playable during the times stated):

May 31: 2 a.m.-7 a.m.
May 31: 6 p.m.-11 p.m.
Jun 1: 9 a.m.-2 p.m.[GMT]
May 31: 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Jun 1: 1 a.m.-6 a.m.
Jun 1: 4 p.m.-9 p.m.
It was also announced that “The Beast” Daigo Umehara and Cygames Beast member Fuudo would participate in the closed beta for the game. A trailer for their match can be seen below.
Granblue Fantasy Versus is developed by Arc System Works and is set to launch in 2019 for PlayStation 4.
