If you like rhythm games with pumping beats but want just a bit more challenge, then you’re in luck today. Just Shapes & Beats is getting a brand spanking new edition just in time to release on the PlayStation 4, called Hardcore Edition. Besides the increase in difficulty, this edition also has 39 new level variants, all of which will be exclusive to the PS4 version of the game. Think of them as hardcore versions of the existing songs. But fret not, if you own Just Shapes & Beats on another console, those versions of the game will also get this mode as a free update at a later point in time!
So by now you’re probably wondering when you, as a Sony fan, can get this spicy version of Just Shapes & Beats. The answer is soon, very soon. In a few short days, on May 10th, Hardcore Edition officially will be out for a mere $19.99. That’s pretty inexpensive for a great party game. I know I’m personally a big fan of the original after playing it at PAX West.
