Feather Takes Flight on Switch and PC

Feather is a ambient flying game where the player takes control of a bird as it flies through a stylized wilderness filled with vast forests, rivers, and mountains. It was brought to us by an independent indie developer called Samurai Punk out of Melbourne Australia, who also brought us Screencheat back in 2014.

In their press release Samurai Punk promises a relaxing experience as you enjoy Feather‘s fluid flight controls and zone out to it’s chill soundtrack. No enemies or hazards. Just a large expansive world to explore. You can even join a flock of other players across both platforms with it’s cross play multiplayer.

So that’s a short and sweet look at this relaxing little indie title. Feather is available on both Nintendo Switch and PC for $9.99 USD, and for PC users you have more options than Just Steam: It’s also available on Humble Bundle, itchi.io, and Discord if you feel so inclined to pick it up there instead. Fly like a Bird

Feather is a peaceful game about immersing yourself in a beautiful island. Become a bird, fly around and lose yourself in zen-like flow whilst listening to the soothing ambient soundtrack. With responsive and fluid flight controls to swoop, glide, backflip and roll your way around the island.

Passive Multiplayer

Passive cross play online multiplayer allows you to join a flock and discover the world with others.

Relaxing Ambient Gameplay

No enemies, no combat, no threats, just peaceful flight by yourself or with other birds. Explore a vast open world and find new songs which can be found around the surroundings. Each element of the island responds to your presence with a hum, tone and rhythm to connect you to the world.

The game will feature English, French, Italian, German, Russian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Dutch, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional and Korean language.

With Japanese being added in an upcoming patch.
