Capcom has announced an update for Dante’s theme, “Subhuman,” in Devil May Cry 5. Eddie Hermida, the vocalist for Suicide Silence, will no longer be singing the vocals for the track due to misconduct allegations that arose soon after the song was revealed. Instead, a new vocal track will be provided by Michael Barr.
The company has noted that the work done by the other Suicide Silence band members and song writers, Cody Matthew Johnson and Mark Heylmun, will remain intact. This is because they were not involved with the incidents. The instrumentals are expected to sound the same as before and the in-game credits will be updated to reflect the change.
Devil May Cry 5 is set to launch on March 8, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
