If you are playing the recently released Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, you may have seen an interesting question pop up in SEGA’s user feedback survey. Found in the PlayStation menu, the survey asks some pretty straightforward questions about how you are enjoying the game, but then this question pops up:
While no localization has been announced at this time, how interested are you in the Fist of the North Star game created by the developers of Yakuza?
Responses to the survey question range from
- Would not buy it.
- I probably wouldn’t buy it.
- I’d buy it under the right conditions.
- I’d probably buy it.
- Day One! I would pre-order it!
Of course, this doesn’t confirm a localization, but it is exciting to see SEGA take an interest. If you want to see Hokuto Ga Gotoku come West, let SEGA know!
The Fist of the North Star game, known as Hokuto Ga Gotoku, released in Japan on March 8th for PlayStation 4. The game is based on a hit manga series that began back in 1983 and spawned multiple anime adaptations.
