Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is about to launch on Steam on February 1st. It is the remastered version previously released on PS4. It will have 60 FPS and compatibility with 21:9 ultra-wide monitors. The Steam version will also allow players to access post-game content modes at the beginning of the game, ability to have the original, remastered, and soundtrack music scores playing, maxed license points and gil from the configuration screen, full controller support, Steam trading cards, and more. More information will be given via the official Final Fantasy Youtube channel on February 2nd, 12:00 AM Pacific time. It will be presented by producer Hiroaki Kato and director Takashi Katano, answering questions presented on Twitter.
On the Square Enix Online Store, there will be a collector’s edition priced at $149.99. It contains a steelbook with the original soundtrack, a five-piece Judge Magisters bust set, six-card art set, and a digital download code for the game itself. For the game itself, anyone who purchases it on Steam within the first week of launch will have a 20% discount, a music compilation of three tracks, and a Steam skin illustrated by famed artist Isamu Kamikokuryo. The game will be priced at $49.99 on Steam.
