Ro Panuganti reflected back on the creation of The Dark Hunter music album, saying the following:

“The gripping atmosphere, exciting turns and twists, and of course the soundtrack from Super Metroid gave me chills. Creating The Dark Hunter was fulfilling my long-running dream of focusing on one theme, one sound, and one game series and making a solid album. You’ll definitely hear influences of modern progressive artists like Periphery, TesseracT, Plini, as well as more ’90s musicians like Pantera and Alice in Chains sneaking into the tunes; interestingly I mostly listened to pop and musicals while recording it! I hope everyone who listens to The Dark Hunter feels inspired to pick up a 7-string guitar or at least Super MetroidMetroid Prime, or the new Metroid: Samus Returns game!”

Michael Fontanini
Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
