SEGA Forever, a collection of classic Sega games that are free-to-play on mobile devices, is getting a new addition. Today, Space Harrier II has joined the ranks of other Sega classics. The mobile version features cloud saves, leader boards, and controller support.

Space Harrier II, sequel to the 1985 arcade classic Space Harrier, was one of the original pack-in titles when the SEGA Genesis™/Mega Drive™ launched in Japan and North America. In the game, which was designed by Yu Suzuki, players dodge targets and fly through Fantasyland, firing a laser cannon at a wide cast of enemies, squaring off in numerous boss fights in an effort to save the world.
To mark the occasion, Sega is dropping the ad removal price to just $0.99/£0.99 / €1.09. You better hurry though, because you only have a week before it goes back up to $1.99/ €2.29 / £1.99.
Besides Space Harrier II, SEGA Forever also includes Altered Beat, The Revenge of the Shinobi, Phantasy Star II, Comix Zone, and Kid Chameleon. Those games also featured significant emulator and control updates to go along with the launch of Space Harrier II. You can download every single game for free (with ad support) from the App Store for iPhone and iPad, and Google Play Store for Android devices.
