There is an old saying that a picture is worth a thousand words. If that’s the case, then this article is worth nearly 130,000 words, courtesy of all the amateur photography I did while at PAX West 2017! Given the convention centers’ somewhat strict rules for not stopping in place and blocking the massive swarm of humanity, I ended up taking most of these pics while walking or at a rare break in the crowd. So if these are less than professionally done, my apologies. But as a visual learner, I find that there are some things no amount of words can convey, and made it my goal this year to give a sort of visual diary of my experience. While most of these are from the convention center, there are others from the Seattle Indies Expo and other locales. So I hope you enjoy the following, and stay tuned to oprainfall for my last PAX West articles, as well as the great stuff my colleague Chris Melchin is putting out!
