At EVO 2017, Arc System Works had a number of announcements for fans following the end of the BlazBlue Centralfiction tournament. One of these announcements was a new playable character: someone that longtime fans of the BlazBlue series will be very familiar with, Jubei of the Six Heroes, and Kokonoe’s father.

Jubei has been mentioned and has even appeared in person throughout all four games in the BlazBlue series, but has never been made playable before. He is known as one of the most powerful beings in the series’ universe, so it will be interesting to see how that power translates into in-game balancing.
