The Berserk manga is about to enter its latest hiatus from publication. From June 23rd until the coming winter, Kentaro Miura’s long-running manga will take off from issue 351 of Young Animal manga magazine, coinciding with the end of the anime’s second season.

For those picking up the magazine in Japan come tomorrow, fans will get some respite with a cover preview of the upcoming Berserk: The Flame Dragon Knight novel, co-written by Makoto Fukami.
Those in the know of Berserk will be very acquainted with the series’ frequent breaks. In the last year alone, the series has been on and off from June 2016 until September, and returned again in March 2017. The manga dates back to 1989, and went from monthly to an irregular schedule beginning in 2006.
