A compilation of The Fruit of Grisaia with all its side story content will launch on PlayStation Vita this July in Japan, Weekly Famitsu reveals. Entitled The Fruit of Grisaia -Side Episode- Leisure, Afterglow, and Melody, it will retail for 4,000 yen in a package that includes The Leisure of Grisaia, The Afterglow of Grisaia, and The Melody of Grisaia. Each of these side episodes were previously released as first-print exclusives with home releases of the accompanying anime, thus giving Vita owners a valuable new way to experience the entire saga.

The Fruit of Grisaia, a tale of five girls trapped in the isolated Mihama Academy, is largely an unknown quantity outside of Japan. A visual romance novel series with entries spanning the PSP and Vita, it also inspired an anime series and OVAs. A KickStarter from Sekai Games raised enough money to produce an English release of the Vita version, but legal difficulties made the release on the western PlayStation Network insurmountable.
If you’re curious as to the particulars of The Fruit of Grisaia, the game and all its side stories are available on Steam (in English), as it is a port of the would-be Vita version. Also note that, because of the visual romance novel’s scandalous content, the game is an adults-only release.
