Sony Corporation has just released information about various projects in Japan today. One of the major announcements was the reboot of Wild Arms JRPG, initially released for PlayStation in 1996. The mobile reboot will feature a new story and keep the same staff from the original game. Arc the Lad, an other RPG, will also have its won reboot which will continue the original story. Both games share a common trailer.

Sony also released information regarding future mobiles games. Doko Demo Issho, PaRappa, and Boku no Natsuyasumi will be developed on smartphones, while Disgaea and Yomawari will  have apps developped by Nippon Ichi Software and ForwardWorks .

Sony

ForwardWorks  will also release Hot Shots Golf during spring 2017, and N in summer. Both titles will be available on iOS and Android.
Sora to Umi no Aida is the first original game developed by ForwardWorks and is managed by Oji Hiroi, who worked on Sakura Wars.

Finally,  Sony and ForwardWorks are working on a common project on smartphones but we will have to wait for more information. I am sure smartphone users in Japan will be pleased by these news, but I am disappointed to see Wild Arms is not having a new entry on home consoles.
