Ittle Dew 2

Good news today for fans of Nicalis and Zelda-inspired games. The delightfully-cartoony Ittle Dew 2 finally has a release date! Yes, Ittle Dew 2 will hit PS4, XBox One and Steam this November 15th! That’s pretty close. But if you’re still on the fence about this sequel, check out the trailer and full press release below!

SANTA ANA, Calif., November 1, 2016—Nicalis Inc., a publisher known for its work on critically-acclaimed titles such as The Binding of Isaac, 1001 Spikes and Cave Story, today announced the 3D adventure-puzzle game Ittle Dew 2 will release on November 15 on Steam, PS4 and Xbox One for $19.99.

Freshly shipwrecked on mysterious island, the eponymous Ittle and her potion guzzling companion Tippsie return for more baddie bashing – this time in full 3D. What lies before them is an even larger island brimming with even more puzzle-laden dungeons, wacky inhabitants and secrets waiting to be discovered. New for Ittle Dew 2, players are now free to adventure their own way and tackle dungeons in whichever order they please. With vastly improved movement and combat, Ittle and Tippsie are ready to dodge and slash their way to uncover the missing pieces of their raft and get off the island!

Throughout their travels, Ittle and Tippsie will procure four trusty weapons that will help them defeat enemies. But these aren’t just weapons, they also serve as puzzle solving tools which will help them freeze, push, ignite and destroy their way through the various dungeon tricks and traps. Weapons can also be upgraded, which make them powerful and even more useful to adventurers.

While not solving puzzles or smiting foes in dungeons, Ittle and Tippsie will be traversing the vast overworld filled with indigenous weirdos and enemies! While exploring, players can unlock warp points which allow quick-travel across the overworld. On top of that, nestled across the map are various caves full of puzzles and dangers just waiting to be pillaged by loot-hungry adventurers. Locals of the island also say that only the most skilled plunderers will be able to locate all the mysterious secret shards to unlock a super secret dungeon…
