Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure joins the growing list of anime on Toonami. The show will premiere in October, starting with Part 1 of the series. It’s unclear if it will be replacing One Punch Man, as that series should be wrapping up around then. The Vice President of Adult Swim and the man in charge of Toonami, Jason DeMarco, confirmed this information on Twitter.
With the manga starting in 1986, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure didn’t fully receive an anime series until 2012 by David Production. Before then, Jojo mostly received the OVA/movie treatment.
The new Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure series is currently airing Part 4. Crunchyroll is streaming each episode as it becomes available.
