Square Enix announced earlier this week that Tokyo RPG Factory’s game, I Am Setsuna, will be localized in the West. Along with this news it was discovered that the PlayStation Vita version of the game would not be making over.
In a talk with USgamer, director Atsushi Hashimoto said,
Of course, there is a large Vita market in Japan. If there is a swell of demand in North America [for the Vita version], though, we will consider it.
This can only be made possible if fans voice their opinions. If you want a Vita version take the time to politely mention @SquareEnixUSA and @Square_Enix_EU telling them what you would like. In other words, tell them with your wallets. Additionally, the company has said in the past that they will listen to fan demand, like with Adventures of Mana, no word yet on if they are listening.
I Am Setsuna will be released on the PlayStation 4 and PC in the West sometime this Spring.
