PSA: Nintendo Console Shop Maintenance on November 1st

This is a public service announcement for all those with 7th and 8th generation Nintendo consoles.

Nintendo has announced that they will be performing maintenance on the 3DS and Wii U eShop, the Wii Shop Channel, and the DSi Shop. Maintenance will start at 10PM EST/7PM PST on November 1st for North Americans — 3AM GMT on November 2nd for Europeans — and go for 24 hours. Nintendo gamers can access the shop again the night of November 2nd/early morning of November 3rd. Although it is not stated in the announcement, it is believed that all other online services on these consoles will work normally during that time.
