As the Street Fighter V release draws closer, Capcom announced a new member to the Street Fighter gang: Rashid, a man from the Middle East that uses technology and his ability to control the wind in order to combat his foes. Based off of the trailer footage, Rashid’s abilities seem to consist of using acrobatic dives to deliver quick, light blows (pun slightly intended) to the enemy. Currently, no release date has been set for Street Fighter V, and it is slated to come to store shelves sometime in 2016.
Another NEW challenger has been introduced to the Street Fighter V roster! Rashid was recently revealed at the Games 15 event in Dubai, where Yoshinori Ono took to the stage to introduce the newest member of the Street Fighter family to the crowd. Attendees at Games 15 were then treated to a brand new playable demo starring Rashid, in addition to all of the previously announced challengers: Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Cammy, Vega, M. Bison, Birdie, Charlie Nash, Necalli and R. Mika.
