Shovel Knight’s retro-style gameplay took the world by storm, delivering a feeling that was authentically challenging in the vein of games like Castlevania and Megaman.The good news for fans is that on September 17, the DLC expansion Plague of Shadows releases. Instead of playing as the main character in this game, you get to play as the Plague Knight, one of the antagonists in the game. Playing as him, you’ll get explosives, bomb jumps, and even a new crafting system to spice up the game for those who may have already unveiled all its secrets.
Best of all, it’s the low low price of zero dollars, so if you’re a fan of the game, there is no reason to not get it. In addition to a new character, there will be new areas, bosses, and a challenge mode. Last month a trailer was released to give us an idea of what the game would be like.
