Yesterday at the Dengeki Game Spring Festival 2015, Compile Heart announced two new games in the Hyperdimension Neptunia franchise. One of which is Chou Jigen Taisen Neptune vs. Sega Hard Girls: Yume no Gattai Special
The Hyperdimension Neptunia franchise features characters which personify various game consoles as goddesses and uses the idea of the console war as its backdrop. Since its debut it has featured three mainline games and three spinoffs released so far, and has its next mainline game Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II set to be released in Japan on April 23rd this year.
Sega Hard Girls is a series that re-imagines the various Sega video game consoles as goddesses that appear throughout modern Japan. The series which inspired a series of light novels also was adapted into an anime called Hi-sCoool! SeHa Girls in which Dreamcast, Mega Drive, and Sega Saturn attempt to earn enough credits to graduate from Sehagaga Academy.
No specific details were given other than the game will be for the PS Vita, but you can be sure we’ll be keeping a close eye on this crazy crossover.
