Good news for fans of Square Enix’s Bravely Default, the sequel, Bravely Second, has been given an official Japanese release date. The game will be coming out on April 23.
The regular version will be going for 5,980 yen (6,458 after tax) while the Collector’s Pack will cost a whopping 14,800 yen (15,984 after tax). The Collector’s Edition will a include a figure of Pope Agnès, an artbook/novel titled Bravely Default 200 Years Later: Shrine Maiden of the Wind, Edea Oblige, a Data CD, a U Notebook, and a rubber strap, along with a Serial Code for use in the game.
There will also be a number of retailer-exclusive bonuses for the game. Ordering from Square Enix’s e-Store will give you the Trinity Sword, which has the Divine Night ability, which will heal your character when they’re attacked in Default mode. Buying from Amazon Japan will get you the Demon Strike, a katana with the ability to reduce the opponent’s strength when attacking. Getting the game from Game Tsutaya and Tsutaya Online Shopping will get the player the Holy Lance Garuda which has the Haste ability. Finally, buying from Geo will get you the Dragon Breath bow and arrow, which will increase the player’s attack power.
