Alone With You Colony AI

Alone With You

It was announced on the PlayStation Blog by Director Benjamin Rivers that Alone With You is coming exclusively to both the PS4 and Vita some time next year. It is coming to us from the creators of the hit indie horror game Home, which was announced to be coming to PS4 and Vita this year back at GDC.

For those unfamiliar with the game, it is a science fiction adventure game. You are a member of a terraforming colony, but now you are the only surviving member. With not even a month left until the planet begins to break up and collapse in on itself, you must find a way to escape. There is a single escape pod left, but you didn’t expect that to be working did you? Of course not! That would be too easy! And to top it all off, the people with the knowledge and skills needed to fix it are all dead now!

It turns out that you are not completely alone though. as the colony AI is still online. Working together with this AI, your plan is to get off this doomed world by recreating key members of the colony and finding out how to repair the damaged systems that are holding you back. During the course of your adventure, you’ll explore different areas of this doomed planet and use your scanner to locate things that may help you. All the while, you’ll begin to find out what happened before the colony met its terrible fate and learn more about the planet itself.

There is yet one more significant wrinkle in Alone With You. Recreated colleagues may not be interested only in technological details. You can build relationships and romance with them and your choices ultimately affect how events unfold. In this way, your relationships with your recreated colleagues and the colony’s AI are central to the story and to your own survival.

He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
