BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger is now on Steam, and there was much rejoicing in the streets! Wait, you haven’t heard of this? Okay, let’s back up.
It may surprise you to learn that a game like BlazBlue Calamity Trigger was ever on PC. But actually, Arc System Works had a few of their fighting games ported to PC (see Guilty Gear X, Guilty Gear X2 : #Reload, and Guilty Gear Isuka). The PC port of BlazBlue came a little over a year after the original release, which came to Japan and Europe, but not the US. That wasn’t too huge a deal, since there was no reason that the European version couldn’t work on American PCs. But it still relegated the port to obscurity in the US.
Now, four years later, the game has finally come to Steam, with some digital extras. Normally the game would be $9.99, but for a limited time, you can get it for 10% off.
