KOEI TECMO GAMES and GUST have announced Atelier Karia: The Night Kingdom & the Guide of Memories, the newest entry in the Atelier series and sequel to Atelier Yumia. The game is planned to release in early 2027 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. An official Japanese livestream with more information on the game will take place on June 12 (20:00 JST).

In addition to the new Atelier game, it was also announced that Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land is now available on Nintendo Switch 2. It is available digital only as a full game download and through a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Upgrade Pack. Save data and DLC can be carried over from the Nintendo Switch version.

The full digital game retails for $69.99 while the upgrade pack retails for $10.00. They are both available at a limited time launch discount of 43% off with the two costing $39.89 and $5.70 respectively. Those who purchase the game by June 23 will also receive the Aladiss Investigation Preparation Set which include a costume for Yumia and Flammi as well as accessories.

The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition has the following improvements and bonuses:

  • Improved resolution and framerate
  • Shorter loading times
  • New local GameShare functionality
    While playing with another player using GameShare, you will be able to switch between the roles of main player and support as you battle and explore.
  • Includes the Atelier Yumia – Backpack Set
    An accessory set for changing the color of Yumia’s backpack and Flammi’s smoke.
