During today’s Nintendo Direct, were some massive Xenoblade series announcements that we’re obviously quite excited to see over here at oprainfall. Well first of all, it’s official, there will be Nintendo Switch 2 versions of all the other Xenoblade games that exist so far, Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition gets a new…more definitive? Switch 2 Edition dubbed, Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition which launches TODAY! Then Xenoblade Chronicles: 2 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is scheduled to launch on July 30th and finally, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is scheduled to release on December 3rd. Also, the press release mentions that pre-orders are available now for the various upgrade packs. Unfortunately, the physical versions won’t release until July 30th, October 1st and December 3rd. Switch 2 ports of the rest of the existing Xenoblade Chronicles games wasn’t the only thing Nintendo announced during today’s Direct. Nintendo also announced that next Xenoblade game! Xenoblade Genesis is headed to Nintendo Switch 2 sometime during 2027. A more exact release time frame has not yet been announced at this time. But there was quite the large trailer for the game in the Direct, which you can check out down below.
