Hopefully all the Pokopia fans out there aren’t bored of the game just yet. But if you are, Nintendo had some great news during today’s Nintendo Direct. Pokémon Pokopia will be getting a brand new free update this upcoming August. A more specific release date hasn’t yet been announced at this time. But as well as getting a free update, there will also be some future paid DLC adding extra content to the game as well. Part 1 of the DLC Expansion Pass, Bubbly Basin, is scheduled to launch this August as well. Then it looks like there will be two more packs coming out as part of this Expansion Pass, a little further out in the future. Part 2 will launch sometime later this year, 2026, and then Part 3 will come out in 2027 and add an additional new town to the game. Feel free to check out the brand new trailer down below. The Expansion Pass is now available for purchase in the eShop, should you be interested and want to be ready for when the new content comes out.
The Pokémon Pokopia experience continues under the sea with a free update arriving this August! Players will be able to explore the ocean floor using the new move Dive to plant grass, build structures, and create their own underwater towns alongside Pokémon. The Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass paid DLC1 is also on the way, introducing three parts of additional content. Part 1 of the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass paid DLC, Bubbly Basin, will launch this August and invite players to “Dive” into a new underwater town filled with new furniture, outfits, and Pokémon friends.
