Silent Hill: Townfall, the newest addition to Konami’s fabled psychological horror series, will launch later this year on PlayStation 5, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. Developed by Scottish studio Screen Burn Interactive and co-published by Annapurna Interactive and KONAMI, players will traverse the quiet, fog shrouded town of St. Amelia as Simon Ordell, who is called back to the desolate island to “put things right.”
The newest trailer for the game, which you can watch above, was shown during Sony’ State of Play on Jun 2. In it, Simon wanders St. Amelia, encountering otherworldly monsters in the fog. Brief snippets of gameplay demonstrate how players can use diversion tactics to draw enemy attention as they sneak through the narrow, claustrophobic environments.
From the website:
Simon Ordell is called back to the island of St. Amelia to ‘put things right’, encountering a town lying quiet beneath a heavy fog, seemingly abandoned but not at rest.
Venturing deeper, and driven to understand his connection to the place and its inhabitants, Simon begins to discover fragments of a past rising to the surface.
Game features include first-person combat. Simon can use melee weapons and firearms, as well as track enemy positions within the fog using his CRTV. The CRTV can also unlock story fragments and puzzle clues, guiding Simon as he explores deeper into the fog.
Silent Hill: Townfall will release Sep 24, 2026, as both a Standard and Deluxe edition. Pre-ordering either will give players CRTV skins. The Deluxe edition also includes an alternate outfit for Simon, a digital artbook, and a digital soundtrack of select tracks. Pre-ordering the Deluxe edition unlocks 48 hour early access.
