GungHo Online Entertainment America has unveiled the Collector’s Edition for Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter. The Golden Wings Edition is produced in partnership with TAKEOFF Creative and includes the following items:
- Standard edition game (Steam®, PlayStation® 5, Nintendo Switch™, or Nintendo Switch™ 2 Edition)
- ‘Glorious x Arseille’ Model Diorama
- SteelBook®
- Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter Artbook
- Mini Soundtrack CD
- Collector’s Box
- Season Pass (digital)
The Golden Wings Edition will cost $279.99 for the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition and $274.99 for all other versions. The Steam version will contain a code for the game and will be limited to 2000 units. The Season Pass is for cosmetic DLC. GungHo is partnering with PM Studios to distribute the Golden Wings Edition. It is available to pre-order now until March 8th, 2026 on PM Studio’s new store, Panax Store. The Golden Wings Edition will only be produced if a minimum number of orders is met, according to the listing.
In addition to the Golden Wings Edition, GungHo also announced that pre-orders for both physical and digital standard editions of the game will be available at a later date. The standard edition will cost $59.99 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Steam while the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will cost $64.99. A Digital Deluxe edition which includes the Season Pass will also be available, though pricing for both the Digital Deluxe edition and Season Pass (if purchased separately) are not available at this time.
Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter is a full 3D remake of the second game in the Trails series, The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC. It is developed by Nihon Falcom and published in the West by GungHo Online Entertainment America. It is scheduled to release in Fall 2026 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
