Capcom unveiled the newest trailer at The Game Awards 2025 for their upcoming survival horror game, Resident Evil Requiem. The trailer confirmed that fan-favorite character, Leon S. Kennedy, will return in the game. Not only is Leon returning, but he will also be a playable character. Players will be able to control both Grace Ashcroft and Leon S. Kennedy in the game’s story, and each character offers different styles of gameplay. Capcom describes Leon’s sections as “exhilarating, death-defying action” while Grace’s sections are described as “spine-tingling survival horror.”

Capcom also announced that they have teamed up with Porsche to give Leon a unique Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT in-game calling it a “legendary ride for a legendary character.” You can check out the collaboration artwork below.
The game’s deluxe edition has now been updated to include three (3) costumes for Leon. The contents of the deluxe edition can be seen below.
