After its initial delay announcement, Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga now has a release date. It will launch digitally for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store) on October 10, 2025. Nihon Falcom developed the game and it originally launched for PlayStation Portable in Japan in 2010. This more recent release by refint/games boasts improvements and additions including remastered graphics for HD and 4K displays, online multiplayer with rollback netcode, English voiceovers, and more.

In addition to the digital launch date, refint/games announced that they are working with Limited Run Games (LRG) on a physical limited edition for the game. More information on that will come at a later time.
