During a special livestream titled Kivotos! ~Live~, Nexon Games showcased different items pertaining to the Global version of Blue Archive. This included new characters and updates coming to the game, discussing concept art for characters, new merchandise announcements, and more. One of the updates is that the game’s localization will be improved. This pertains to some of the game’s main story, the game’s tutorial, and interactions pertaining to specific characters (Hina (Dress), Iori (Swimsuit), Aris, Yoshimi, Pina).

Blue Archive | Enhanced Localization

However, the biggest announcement was that Blue Archive would be receiving a PC version. The PC version is scheduled to release on Steam this Summer. In addition, the game’s main story will be updated to be fully voiced in Korean.

Blue Archive | Main Story Korean Voice-overs

It’s important to note, the Steam version and the full main story Korean voice-overs have only been announced for the Global version of Blue Archive. The Japanese and Chinese versions of the game are handled by a different publisher, Yostar. So, the current Steam announcement does not pertain to those versions. If those versions are also getting PC clients, they will be announced on their respective channels, most likely in a livestream, as well.

Blue Archive is developed by Nexon Games’ MX Studio and the global version is published by Nexon. It is available now for Android and iOS mobile devices. A Steam release is planned for Summer 2025. If you’re interested in the game, you can check out its official website.
