NIS America will release The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon in the West this Fall for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store). It initially launched in Japan on September 26, 2024. The game is currently the latest, chronologically, in Nihon Falcom’s long-running Trails series and takes place after the events of The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak II. This entry stars Van Arkride and marks the returns of Erebonia arc protagonist, Rean Schwarzer, and Trails in the Sky the 3rd protagonist, Kevin Graham. With this announcement, that marks two Trails games launching in the West this Fall, the other being Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter.

The contents of the game’s limited edition have also been revealed. The limited edition includes the following:
- A copy of the game for PS4, PS5, or Nintendo Switch
- An art book
- Digipak original soundtrack
- A steelbook case
- An acrylic clock
