FREEDOM WARS REMASTERED Coming 2025 for PS4, PS5, Switch, & PC

To celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Freedom Wars, Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced a remaster titled FREEDOM WARS REMASTERED. It will launch for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on January 10th, 2025. The original game was developed by Sony Computer Entertainment’s Japan Studio alongside Shift and Dimps for PlayStation Vita and launched in 2014.

The remaster will feature the following improvements:

Improved visuals, supporting 4K resolution and 60fps

Adjusted game balance and difficulty options

Updates to weapon crafting and upgrading
