After years of exclusivity on Apple’s iOS, MacOS and Apple Arcade, Mistwalker’s Fantasian is finally coming to PC and modern consoles. Written and produced by Hironobu Sakaguchi, the father of Final Fantasy, with music by the legendary Nobuo Uematsu, Fantasian follows hero Leo through a world created entirely out of hand-crafted dioramas as he and his companions fight to save the world from a strange mechanical infection while also trying to recover his memories. You can watch the announcement trailer above.
Fantasian Neo Dimension features turn-based battles where you influence the direction of characters’ skills to attack multiple enemies in one hit. You can also skip random battles by sending enemies to the “Dimengeon” to fight at a later time, where strategically engaging with your skills can turn the tide of battle. Neo Dimension also features a new Normal difficulty mode, Japanese and English voiceovers, and other additional features.
Published by Square Enix, Fantasian New Dimension will launch on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this winter.
