Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet | Trailer Screenshot

During today’s Pokémon Presents video presentation, The Pokémon Company showed off new footage of the upcoming Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet games and discussed some new stuff they didn’t go over back when the games were announced. Some of the new info they discussed includes the fact that these latest series entries aren’t just about collecting all 8 gym badges and becoming a Pokémon Champion. There are actually three different stories to follow and getting all the badges is only one of the stories. They haven’t yet gone into detail on what the other two stories will be about. Also, they confirmed these are open world Pokémon games and the main legendary from each game will essentially be your vehicle to get around in. If you’d like to see more on the new games, feel free to check out the trailer down below. Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are scheduled to launch for Nintendo Switch this upcoming November 18th, 2022.
