Today Bandai Namco has released some new DLC for Tales of Arise. The first of these being some new difficulty settings. There is now a Very Easy mode for players who just want to see the story, and an Unknown Mode for the most hardcore Tales of series fans. Next up we have some new weapons and Training Ground battles. Players can compete in these battles against new foes and earn weapons previously not available. PC players will get the DLC via a free patch, but console players will need to head over to this site and sign up for free DLC vouchers. Lastly, we have the Sword Art Online collaboration that was announced over the weekend. This DLC includes a special boss battle against Kirito and Asuna, Kirito and Asuna costumes for Alphen and Shionne, a new Mystic Artes “Cosmic Ensemble” and weapons, Night-Sky Blade Replica and Blue Rose Sword Replica for Alphen. The Tales of Arise and Sword Art Online collaboration DLC will set you back $15.99.

Steve started with oprainfall not long after the campaign moved from the IGN forums to Facebook. Ever since, he has been fighting to give all non-mainstream RPGs a fair voice. As the site admin, he will continue to do this and even show there is value in what some would deem "pure ecchi." He loves niche games and anime more than anything... well, except maybe Neptune.
