More exciting visual novel news as Graveyard Girls officially launches. This is a smaller title that I do not expect a ton of people to be familiar with. However, you should know that it comes from the very passionate developer of Starlight Shores. A story that I proclaimed to be among my favorites of last year. It isn’t a long visual novel like the ones that are coming of late, but it’s emotional impact is remarkable. Now returning to another game jam, the developer returns to the spotlight to formally release yet another title to get us emotional. Graveyard Girls talks about death and grief from a unique standpoint. It’s a special release that I think a lot of people should be checking out. We also have an interview coming in the next few days. Check out Graveyard Girls today on Itch.

What is Graveyard Girls about?
“Grief isn’t a low. It’s a terrifying high, atop a mountain I never climbed.”
Visiting her father’s grave on Halloween was never the plan, but inexplicably, Elle finds herself drawn to the local cemetery.
Hoping to find a semblance of closure, she arrives at his graveside with a notebook clutched to her chest.
Sitting against his headstone, Elle talks to her dad for the first time in years.
Drowning in a downpour of memories, she closes her eyes and focuses on breathing.
Daylight slips away, but before Elle can leave, a stranger approaches.
When Elle and Lucia meet on Hallows Eve, two grieving worlds collide…
Graveyard Girls is a release that comes as a submission to the Spooktober Game Jam. Please check out the other participating projects!
