The latest Nintendo Direct dropped a few details about the second DLC pack for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. The game’s next DLC pack will arrive on October 29th, leaving just over a month until launch.

Wave 2 of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity DLC will add new story elements to explore. This includes the “Battle for Kakariko Village”, the “Battle of Goponga Village”, and more. The DLC will also add new stages, including “Coliseum”. As for fighters, some existing characters will get new actions, too. Of course, there are also some new fighters joining, but we’ll get to them in a moment. You can see the new trailer below. The video will automatically start at 6:25 where this trailer begins.

Purah and Robbie will join the war in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity‘s second DLC. There are a couple of quick scenes showing them in action toward the end of the trailer. The details card at the end of the trailer says one more new fighter is also coming in this DLC. However, this fighter has not yet been revealed. Many fans expect more DLC to follow, given how much the original Hyrule Warriors game received. However, nothing beyond Wave 2 has been confirmed so far.

The first DLC pack added the Battle-Tested Guardian character. Meanwhile, Link got the new flail weapon type, while Princess Zelda was given the Master Cycle. The first wave of DLC also added a new “Apocalyptic” difficulty mode.

Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
