Pine Creek is coming to Game Boy Color thanks to retro publisher Incube8 Games and video games producer Spacebot Interactive. Developed by indie studio, Carmelo Electronics, pre-orders for physical copies have just gone live. Alternatively, you can play Pine Creek on itch.io for free. The game’s itch.io page also says you’ll be able to get the ROM from Incube8 games “soon”, but the date has yet to be announced.
For physical copies, there are two editions. The standard edition includes several items in a sealed box. Among them are a black game cartridge, a cartridge protector, and the game manual. Pre-sale versions also include a limited edition stickers sheet.
Meanwhile, the special edition is limited to 200 numbered copies. It includes the following:

Pine Creek is an exploration adventure about following clues as the story unfolds. It is aimed at a mature audience (18+). A young girl has disappeared from a quiet little town called Pine Creek. Suspicion grows that a cult may be behind it. Now her best friend has no choice but to do everything in his power to get to the bottom of things. Who is behind this crime? Why and how did they do it?
