Melty Blood: Type Lumina | Release Date

A new trailer released for Melty Blood: Type Lumina revealed that the upcoming fighting game will release on September 30, 2021. In addition to this news, a release on PC via Steam was announced and two new playable characters, Hisui and Kohaku, were also revealed. The game will be available to pre-order in a standard edition and deluxe edition. The deluxe edition comes with a digital copy of the game and the Melty Blood Archives. The Melty Blood Archives comes with a digital book filled with artwork and details on the game as well as a digital sound collection which features background music from the series. The standard edition will cost $49.99 and the deluxe edition will cost $69.99.

Those who purchase the game early (standard or deluxe) can download the Arcueid Round Announcements DLC for free until October 27th. After that date, the Arcueid Round Announcements will be offered as paid DLC. Pre-orders are not open at this time.

Melty Blood: Type Lumina launches worldwide on September 30, 2021 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. The game will utilize rollback netcode but will not support cross-platform play. For more information, you can check out its official website HERE.
