Shout! Factory have announced that in collaboration with eOne, a Hasbro company, they’re releasing a brand new 35th anniversary edition of THE TRANSFORMERS – THE MOVIE. They describe a number of versions they’ll be releasing. First of all, is the 4K UHD + Blu-ray set which will be packaged in a collectible SteelBook (pictured above). They mention that this SteelBook features art done by comic artist Matt Ferguson. They also say that this is the first time the movie will be released in 4K UHD and fans who pre-order from the Shout! Factory website will receive a limited edition 18″ x 24″ lithograph while supplies last, also featuring art from Matt Ferguson. This special edition will be releasing on August 3rd 2021.
