Right off the bat I will say that How to Live a Healthy Hentai Lifestyle! from CLOCKUP is one the most unique nukige titles I’ve ever read. I didn’t know what to expect when I took this one on, and boy did I get more than I bargained for. This one is about as over the top as you can get. We’ll have to see if this was a good or a bad thing!

The story here follows a young man named Gotou Hajime. He is a student at Penile University, studying to improve the lives of all the perverts in this world. Here, being a pervert is considered a good thing, since they help relieve the public of their urges and thus crime is reduced. Not much is out of bounds here, and sex can occur anywhere with about any sort of kink your mind can come up with. He has departed his home in Cockerton, traveled through the tunnel in Mt. Erectus, and finally arrived at Vaginville where he will live with the famous Maezono family. The mother, Maezono Chika, is a world famous pervert, so he expects to learn a lot from observing her and her daughters. This will soon turn into a hands-on observation, and will lead him to places not even he expected!

As you can tell from the names of the towns, this nukige doesn’t take itself too seriously. Honestly, while I do think there is some very good food for thought here about how we view sex as a society, I mostly just got a good laugh out of a lot of this. The creation story at the church is one for the ages. The localization team deserves a ton of praise here. If they hadn’t put a ton of thought and polish on the writing here, this would have been a very lacking experience. Each route in Healthy Hentai Lifestyle! has a sub route you can explore as well. There aren’t many choices in this one. You will have to pick which of the ladies in the house you wish to spend time with and, after a few days, it will put you on the route of the girl you spend the most time with. There are some harem routes if you mix things up a bit. If you ever played an Imouto Paradise title, this works exactly the same way. The sub routes will show up during the main character’s route as a simple question, so just make a save at each one and you’ll be able to see all of this one easily.

Since this one is nukige, the sex is pretty much the story, but that doesn’t mean these characters don’t have a lot of personality. The mother, Maezono Chika, is Chief Officer of Vaginville’s Office of Sexual Affairs. She is in charge of all the officers making sure the public is sexually satisfied. She is a very stern woman that can dish out punishment, as needed, to keep the peace as well. She will go to any lengths to keep order in the town. Maezono Chihiro is the sports star of the family. She is always working out and participating in various competitions. She loves cycling and will have sex at any opportunity she gets. She loves dick after all! Maezono Chizuru attends the same college as Hajime, but she is studying to be a teacher of perversion. She may seem more reserved than the others on the outside, but don’t let that fool you. This woman is a hardcore masochist that likes to be used by many men at one time. Maezono Chihaya is the youngest daughter. She is the smallest of the girls, but probably the most aggressive. She shows Hajime many things and even gets him to help her in crime fighting activities. Last but not least, we have my personal favorite, Maezono Chinami. She is into sports like her sister, Chihiro, and considers her to be a bit of a rival. She is very involved with sport clubs and helps them out when she can, with sexual favors or their other needs. Chinami is also a big star in the Gynaestics Club herself and recruits Hajime to help her in this sport that is just as wild as you expect it to be at this point. The supporting characters you encounter during the game’s sub routes are pretty interesting as well, even if these stories are a bit shorter. Some will even add a bit of lore to this crazy world where the story is taking place. I would cover them more here, but since there isn’t a whole lot of meat to them, I feel like I would just be writing out exactly how they play out rather than letting players explore them on their own.

The music here is pretty standard, but that’s not a bad thing. Each track fits the scenes perfectly and are, for the most part, pretty upbeat. There are some very interesting sound effects here, but the real star here is the voice acting. These girls really got into their roles with the H-scenes here, and it makes them pretty over the top. Which in some cases might be too much, but it fits in with rest of this wild ride perfectly. You can even explore various clips of them performing acts in the game’s gallery.

Speaking of the gallery, there is a good amount of CG’s and H-scenes for each member of the main cast here. Each one has a total of ten scenes for players to enjoy with a wide variety of kinks explored. The supporting cast get five scenes each. The artwork for these was done by artist, Butcha-U, and are very high quality. A feature I really loved was during H-scenes, you can use the mouse to click and zoom to any portion of the CG you like. This is a really neat feature more eroge / nukige should incorporate. There is music in the gallery here, but it’s just various versions of the main theme song.

In the end, I had a lot of fun with How to Live a Healthy Hentai Lifestyle! I know this one will not be for everyone since some of the themes explored will be out of bounds for some folks, but I felt like the over the top nature of this one with the quirky writing, make it a very unique experience. It will take you about 12 hours to clear all the routes, and it comes in at a price of $44.95. This is a little steep, but I do feel like this is a quality release. If you’re looking for something different, that is very entertaining and some of the kinks here don’t scare you away, this is one you should check out.
