It’s been a huge year for Pokémon. The series has been enjoying it’s recent strides with excellent anime content with Pokémon Journeys and Pokémon Twilight Wings. There have also been various events in Pokémon Go and Pokémon Masters EX to get excited for-including the sync pair of Gloria and Zacian in Masters. The recent Crown Tundra DLC for Pokémon Sword and Shield was also well received by fans and added tons of Pokémon, old and new, to the games.
The Pokémon Company definitely wants fans to look forward to the future of the franchise, as they recently participated in the Macy’s Day Thanksgiving Parade and have promised more information on the 25th anniversary in 2021.

The Pokémon Company International teased its upcoming 25th anniversary celebration for the Pokémon brand during the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade®. A troupe of Pikachu danced to the original and iconic Pokémon theme song in New York’s Herald Square. The electrifying performance ended with Pokémon Trainers unfurling a massive banner revealing the official logo for the celebration. This year also marked the 20th consecutive year in which a giant Pikachu balloon floated among Manhattan skyscrapers and delighted fans during the Parade. The Pokémon Company International invites fans around the world to stay tuned for more information about the very special upcoming celebration of Pokémon’s 25th anniversary in 2021.
