Tactical squad-based RPG, Wasteland 3, takes players into post-apocalyptic Colorado, where they will lead their squad of fighters, and pick their friends and foes. All the while, they will build their own stories in the wasteland. As the game has just launched for PC (Steam and gog), Xbox One X, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, a brand new launch trailer has dropped. The game is also included in Xbox Game Pass. Developer inXile Entertainment, and publisher Deep Silver are excited about the launch, with a standard price of $59.99. Development was led by inXile Studio Head, series co-creator, and Interplay founder, Brian Fargo. He had this to say in the press release:

“I’m really proud of the Wasteland 3 team and the wonderful personality they infused into the game, we’re looking forward to watching and hearing gamer’s reactions.”

Here is the shiny new Wasteland 3 launch trailer:

Players will command a Desert Ranger squad in a post-nuclear world as they try to rebuild their fallen society. More than 100 years have passed since the bombs were unleashed. Your squad now finds itself embattled in a losing fight to save Arizona. You’re acting under the promise of aid from the self-proclaimed Patriarch of Colorado radios. The condition is that you must do a job that only an outsider can be trusted with. You must rescue his land from the fell ambitions of his three children.

Your fight against the odds will see you through snowy mountains and desolate deserts. You’ll need to establish a new base and find a vehicle that can handle the snow. All the while, players will also need to train some recruits to help in the fights ahead. It will be difficult to decide who to trust in the war-torn world of Wasteland 3. Along the way, you’ll build up your reputation and figure out whether you will save Colorado, or be its latest nightmare!

Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
