Developer Croteam and publisher Devolver Digital unveiled a brand new Serious Sam 4 gameplay trailer today in the Future Games Show. The trailer reveals that Sam Stone will be taking control of a new and improved ‘Popemobile’ in his upcoming adventure. This giant mech is heavily armed and will be a powerful tool in Sam’s ongoing battles against the hordes that keep invading the Earth! It sports fully automatic heavy machine guns for mowing down weaker monsters. For tougher foes, it has rocket launchers to pack a bigger punch. The press release says Serious Sam 4 is set to blast onto the scene on September 24th for both PC (Steam) and Stadia. Check out the new ‘Popemobile’ trailer:

Serious Sam 4 is the latest chapter in the frenetic shooter series that pits you against huge hordes of alien monsters hell-bent on taking over the Earth. That may sound a bit unfair, but its balanced out by Sam’s over-the-top arsenal of powerful weapons for blasting through huge waves of bloodthirsty foes in large maps. The series is also known for letting players team up with friends to take down the hordes together in super fun multiplayer mayhem.

Throughout the summer months, they’ve also been releasing a trickle of Serious Sam 4 screenshots showing off new and returning foes. Sam will face them all next month when his latest adventure begins. In the meantime, here are the screenshots to give you a sneak peak of some of dangerous foes you’ll be up against this time:

Michael Fontanini
Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
