In a press release put out today by PQube they announced a release date for Inertial Drift, an upcoming racing game they’re publishing by developers Level 91 Entertainment.

Inertial Drift has a lot that sets it apart from other racing games. For one, It focuses on one-on-one races. Also, everyone’s favorite racing game mechanic, drifting, takes center stage here. This goes as far as giving drifting a rather unique control method that involves using both analog sticks. Inertial Drift also features a cell-shaded and neon aesthetic and will have split screen multiplayer. Checkout the trailer below to see it in action.

 

 

Inertial Drift will launch on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, XBox One, and Steam on August 7th, both on digital store spaces as well as in the form of physical copies, at least in the case of the Switch and PS4. Checkout the press release for more details:
