Reprise of the Spear Hero | cover
One Peace Books have announced that the second volume of The Reprise of the Spear Hero: The Manga Companion will be released on May 19th for $11.95 USD.

The second volume picks up where the first left off, continuing the story of Motoyasu’s adventure
to reunite with Filo. He brings Naofumi and Eclair along with him, picking up several new filolials

on the way. Motoyasu begins to raise and train Sakura, Yuki, and Kou – the three young filolials
–and helps Naofumi grow stronger, so they might be able to fight back against the assassins
hounding them at every step on their way to Siltvelt.
Following up on the success of the first volume of the series, the second volume continues what
fans have come to expect:

  • Aneko Yusagi’s comedic story excellently showcases Motoyasu’s eccentric personality, as
he bonds with the filolials and continues his frantic search for Filo.
  • Neet’s artwork beautifully portrays the party’s antics, stumbling through the bizarre new
    timeline Motoyasu has created.
  • Enjoy the continuation of this alternate storyline, as well as a different look at the world
that readers have come to love from The Rising of the Shield Hero.
